The FSU Humanities Center welcomes eight dissertation fellows for 2026-2027. The fellows represent a range of disciplinary expertise, including art history, philosophy, English, religion, history, musicology, and modern languages and literatures. They will meet weekly for lectures, lunches, workshops, and other events during the academic year and they will contribute directly to the center’s mission in numerous ways, from podcast interviews to presentations of their research and as respondents to others’ works-in-progress. They will collaborate with each other and with others at the FSU Humanities Center as the center advances interdisciplinary conversation about this year’s topic, The Human in the Humanities.
